Volunteer Information

Opportunities to Serve

We encourage all of our families to get involved at Bell Shoals Academy. Your involvement can make a profound impact on our community. When you share your time and talents, you help create a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. Volunteering offers a unique opportunity to connect with teachers, staff, and other parents, fostering a strong sense of community, and setting an example of service for our students.

Prepare for Your Visit

Ensuring the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. To help us achieve this, all unregistered visitors to the campus are required to obtain an identification badge at the Security Desk by submitting their driver’s license.

Parents who have completed a background check will be registered in our computer security system. When visiting the campus, parents should sign in at the kiosk and receive a visitor badge. Before leaving campus, please remember to log off at the kiosk.

Classroom Opportunities

We have many opportunities for families to help in the classroom throughout the year. Please print and return this form to your teacher to start the volunteer approval process.

Field Trips

If you will be supervising students or driving on field trips, please complete a background check form and submit it along with the fee at least two weeks prior to the trip. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, and drivers must be at least 25 years old.
