Welcome to Discovery Camp

Discovery Camp is our exciting summer program for preschool through 8th grade.  We have half and full day camp available and each week we have an exciting new theme.  Discovery Camp is open to all BSA students who are pre-K2 through rising 8th grade.

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday
       Half Day:  7:30am - Noon
       Full Day:  7:30am - 6:00pm   

Discovery Camp Fees

Registration Fee:  $25



1st Camper: Half Day $175 per week // Full Day $225 per week

Each Additional Camper: Half Day $150 per week // Full Day $195 per week


VBS Week: 2s -K  -same pricing as above // Completed K and up $175 per week

Worship Camp Week: 2s - K  -same pricing as above // Completed 1st and up $175 per week


Pay for 5 weeks up front, get $75 off each camper. Pay for all summer and receive $150 each camper.

Week 1 May 31 - June 3: 
“Legomania” 

(No Camp on Monday, May 31st)

This camp will focus on the campers’ building skills.  Can you create your own city, using LEGOs®?  Let the architect and engineer in your camper come out in this camp full of LEGOs®!   We will stack, build, create, and let’s be honest, knockdown LEGOs® this week. 

Week 2 June 6 - 10:
2 years – Rising K “Little Sparks Creation Station

Imaginations will be ignited and creativity awakened as kids learn that they are created, designed, and empowered to use their talents to bring glory to God at Sparks Studio.

Completed K-5th Grade - “VBS WEEK” – Special Price

Full steam ahead as campers participate in BSC’s Vacation Bible School in the morning and then head off to camp at 12:00 PM. Kids will learn that they are created, designed, and empowered to use their talents to bring glory to God at Sparks Studio.  VBS is free from 9 -12 in the AM, the cost incurred for the week is for care before and/or after VBS. Week 3 June 13 - 17: 
Pre K2 - 8th Grade “Kid’s Kitchen”

LET’S GET COOKING!  Campers will learn new and exciting culinary skills while having fun and trying new foods.  They will make appetizers, entrees, and desserts.  

Week 4 June 20 - 24: 
Pre K2 - 8th Grade “Time Travelers”

What would it be like to go back in time or forward into the future?  Campers will travel in time and explore different cultures, historical times, and people. Mexico, Iceland, Rome…. who knows where our campers will land?

Week 5 June 27 - July 2: 
S’mores and More” Pre K2 - Pre K 4

Chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers….does this remind you of a tasty treat?  Campers will “Camp In” during this week including pitching a tent, campfire stories, and of course, eating S’mores.

Survivor” Rising K- 8th Grade

Is your camper a “Survivor”?  Campers will go on scavenger hunts, survivor challenges, use maps and compasses, and much more during this Survivor Camp.

What would it be like to go back in time or forward into the future?  Campers will travel in time and explore different cultures, historical times, and people. Mexico, Iceland, Rome…. who knows where our campers will land?

Week 6 July 5 - 8:

No camp on Monday, July 4th

“Silly Science”  Pre K2 - Pre K 4

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) come alive through hands-on experiments. Campers become inventors as they mix, stir, pour, and measure creating some bizarre mixtures. 

“Mad Science” Rising K- 8th Grade

Campers get messy as they make some cool gooey stuff as they experiment with goo, globs, oozes, and blobs.  This is sure to whip up a week full of zany goos and oohs.  Secret laboratory not required! Muah ha ha ha! 

Week 7 July 11 - 15
Artful Antics” PreK 2 - Rising 1st 

Creative Campers will flourish this week as we explore different materials and mediums.  Campers will use their skills to create beautiful and exciting art with paints and other supplies. 

Kids Worship Camp

Complete 1st - Completed 5th

Campers will participate in BSC’s Worship Camp in the morning and then head off to Discovery Camp at 12:30 PM. Kids will learn a musical throughout the week and then perform it on Friday night! There are different tracks the kids can be a part of throughout the week: choir, drama, media/tech, creative team, and set design. To participate in this campers must be registered and paid with BSC. Care is available after the morning portion if requested for a fee.   Worship Camp is $65 from 8 -1 and needs to be paid on the BSC site.    The cost for care after KWC@ 1:00 pm is $150. Week 8 July 19 - 23: Pre K2 - Pre K 4
“Kid's Kitchen”

It's so popular that we are doing it twice. (Recipes will be different from week #3). LET’S GET COOKING!  Campers will learn new and exciting culinary skills while having fun and trying new foods.  They will make appetizers, entrees, and desserts

Week 9 July 25 - 29: Pre K2 - Pre K 4
Wild Game Week

This is a wild and crazy week for our campers! campers will engage in games and challenges that help develop athletic skills, improve confidence, encourage good sportsmanship then finish off with a bouncy house, and more. This week is the craziest way to begin closing out the summer.
